Christmas Concerts at The Barnhill Center

Unity Theatre “Coney Island Christmas”
Weaving together nostalgia, music, and merriment, this is a holiday show for people of all ages and faiths. An older Shirley Abramowitz tells her great-granddaughter the story of when she was cast in the role of Jesus in her school’s Christmas pageant. As a young Jewish girl, her immigrant parents are horrified and will not allow her to participate. This is a charming story of what it means to be an American during the holidays.
