Texas Arts and Music Festival

The tenth annual Texas Arts & Music Festival in historic Downtown Brenham is just around the corner! Join us October 16-18, 2026, for a family-friendly weekend of art, live music, street food, and activities in the streets of Downtown Brenham.

Each year the Texas Arts & Music Festival brings live music and world-renowned mural artists for live art installations for the public to enjoy. The festival will also host a juried art show at the Brenham Heritage Museum. Admission to the museum will be waived during the festival weekend, October 16-17.

Texas Arts and Music Festival will feature live music throughout the day on Saturday, October 18 with Brenham Children’s Chorus starting things off.

The Guzzlers will follow from 4 to 5:30 p.m.  Houston’s own party powerhouse, The Guzzlers have been rocking the Gulf Coast since 1995. Their sound blends classic rock, blues, country, soul, and disco into what they call “FUN Texas Rock & Blues.”

Next, Henry Invisible will play from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Henry Invisible (Henry Roland) is a multi-instrumentalist producer who live-loops and layers vocal harmonies, dynamic guitar riffs, bass grooves, soulful keyboards, drum machines and powerful percussion to create original, high-energy dance music that resembles a solid six-piece ensemble.

This year’s headliner will be The Last Bandoleros, playing from 8 to 9:30 p.m.  San Antonio’s native sons, The Last Bandoleros, have been earning accolades with their accomplished musicianship and impressive harmonies, opening for Sting, The Mavericks, Los Lobos and Dwight Yoakum. 

 

Stay the night, enjoy brunch at one of the local restaurants, and come back for more live music on Sunday at 11:30am with Phil N’ the Blanks Jazz Band.

The concerts, along with the festival, are family-friendly and FREE to the public. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy live music and delicious food and refreshments from local restaurants and food trucks.

The Children’s Business Fair is on Saturday from 10am – 1pm. The Art Village will be open on Saturday, 10am-8pm and Sunday, 10am-2pm. Artists and Craftspeople from across Texas will be set up offering their unique handmade creations to the public.

Hot Nights, Cool Tunes

Hot Nights, Cool Tunes is one of the highlights of the summer in Brenham & Washington County! And it is not just a one-time event. Bring your lawn chair and your friends, and join the fun each Saturday evening in July (excluding July 4) for live music in historic Downtown Brenham. Admission and parking are free. Food and drinks are available for purchase at local downtown businesses. The west end of Commerce Street features a classic car show by Stray Katz Car Club, which is always a family favorite.

The music begins with the Summer Showcase! Local talent will be performing on stage in Alamo Alley (next to 115 W. Main St, Brenham) every Saturday of Hot Nights Cool Tunes from 5:00-6:30pm. This year, free Blue Bell ice cream will be given out during every performance until it is gone!
