The Bonnie Blue House is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage that can accommodate up to 4 adults. There is a full kitchen and coffee bar for all your dining needs, a dining room and spacious living room with TV and roku setup. Outdoor seating area is available underneath 2 large oak trees between the house and garden for guests to enjoy the wonderful country atmosphere.
Enjoy taking in the sights and history of Independence by walking the village loop and Old Baylor Park. Continue with a trip to see the beautiful gardens of The Antique Rose Emporium. Then head to the General Store for a burger and beer; trust me-the burgers do not disappoint.
A short drive down Hwy 50 South to 105 will take you quickly into Brenham. There visit Blue Bell and the downtown for shopping and dining.
Planning on going to an A&M game, graduation, or just sightseeing around Bryan/College Station; head North on Hwy 50 for an easy drive into town.
Designers, Shoppers, and Antiquers; come and stay at the Bonnie Blue House during the Fall and Spring Round Top/Warrenton Antique Festival. Enjoy taking the beautiful scenic route of hwy 390; especially during the spring as you drive past fields and fields of Bluebonnets. The Bonnie Blue House also offers ample parking that is able to accommodate trailers for those serious shoppers.

This authentic general store was originally called “Henry’s grocery store” and was loved by all in the area. I was blessed to find it, restore it and call it my “happy place”. The once wide open general store has now been converted to two separate living quarters. The back guest area has two king suites and one bunk room which sleeps six. Combined the back area sleeps 10. This back area has a shared living, kitchen and dining. It’s really fun during Round Top market days to stay in a room and share stories and fellowship with the other guests, although off season of the Round Top market days this guest quarters can be rented by the entirety. The front quarters is a separate area with a king size bed, two twin extra long bunks and it’s own living, kitchen and bath room. All are within walking distance to the amazing Mexican restaurant Los Patrones, as well as White Horse Tavern, and a great coffee shop, Neon Moon Coffee.
