Hilltop Stone Home + Guest House
Perched atop a scenic hill just outside Round Top, the Hilltop Stone Home + Guest House offers 11 acres of open sky, sunset views, and peaceful countryside. The property features two distinct homes—a spacious 2-bedroom stone main house and a bright 1-bedroom guest house—each with its own south-facing deck, perfect for enjoying coffee, cocktails, or stargazing. Together, they sleep up to nine guests across three queen bedrooms, a pull-out sofa bed in the guest house, and a sofa in the main house. Inside, natural light, handmade textiles, and thoughtful details create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We are just down the road from Lake Somerville, historic Washington on the Brazos and the Bluebell Creamery. Round Top is a few miles to our west and Chappell Hill to our east.
The quaint, 1930’s craftsman-style house channels the innocence, purity, and simplicity of Texas’ countryside. The style, which conveys the unpretentious ease of hill country life, is finding an increasingly receptive audience in modern times. Cheery and natural, the style places function over form and comfort over modernity.
The Texas Country Guesthouse overlooks picturesque landscapes of open fields and beautiful blue skies. The house offers a handful of amenities for guests to enjoy either on a romantic or adventurous, outdoor getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee on our newly built deck and listen to the peaceful sounds of the neighboring creek!
