Author Mike Vance returns to the Brenham Heritage Museum on Monday, August 24, 2026, to present the second installment of “Undertold Texas.” The program will explore lesser-known stories from Texas history, including a Texas German Civil War story, the early days of Texas aviation, an emerging 19th-century technology, and the first declaration of Texas independence.

Members-Only Reception: 5:30 p.m. on the museum’s main floor
Food and refreshments will be provided. Copies of Undertold Texas: Volume II and Volume I will be available for sale before and after the lecture.
