The Shirttail Bunkhouse is the perfect spot to get away from the city and decompress in the country. Sip your morning coffee from the porch as the farm gets going every day. In the evening, grill some steaks out back or head into downtown Brenham to check out several of the great spots our town offers!
The Bunkhouse is a charming and cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom 1935 bungalow with original long leaf pine floors. There are two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed, the other with a full bed and two twin bunk beds. The couch has a Queen fold out bed. There is 1 bathroom.

An antique chandelier sets the lovely, peaceful tone of the home. The master bedroom with queen bed features an antique carved table that serves as dedicated workspace if needed. The second bedroom with queen bed offers ample storage space with open closets and drawer space. The spacious loft features a full bath with a rain showerhead. It holds two queen beds below and four comfy 12” foam fold out beds in the loft above. The full kitchen is stocked with coffee, snacks, and bottled water. Her 1 bed 1 bath makes it easy to access some of the best restaurants & shopping the City of Brenham offers. Or choose to unwind in her newly remodeled modernized space simply.
The space is the newly remodeled front half of a restored Victorian, and guests have access to the entire apartment. Other things to note: The painted lady is a duplex, and you’ll be staying in the front unit.
