For Spring Break 2025, The Barnhill Center is proud to host showings of the “Step Into The Past” series of historical movies!

These exciting and fun movies are family-friendly and cover many of Brenham and Washington County’s most interesting topics and histories such as Dr. Richard Fox Brenham and the founding of Brenham, Reese Lockett—the cowboy mayor, the Brenham Fire Museum, Maifest, and more!

The movies run on a continuous loop from 10am – 4pm and admission is FREE! Total length for all movies is about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
