We wanted a place where the local Burton and Washington County families could come and fill their bellies, see familiar faces and share a meal over the simple plates that carry with them a message of community and family.
The idea behind the café is to have at least 75% Farm to Table in the first year. I have a strong passion for knowing where your food comes from and knowing what our kids and loved ones are putting in their bodies. We welcome everyone and hope that everyone will feel comfortable pulling a chair up to one of our tables.
Located in downtown Burton across from the historic Cotton Gin, the White Horse Tavern features favorite lunch items and cold drinks. You can even catch great live music on the weekends. The White Horse Tavern has been a staple in Burton for decades. The tavern was a stopping place to eat and catch up on the town news.

Must Be Heaven has a private dining area that seats up to 36 comfortably. The room is available on a “first request” basis at no charge. After business hours, however, the entire restaurant is available for a charge. Restaurant seats 215 including the private room.
