The White Horse Tavern
Located in downtown Burton across from the historic Cotton Gin, the White Horse Tavern features favorite lunch items and cold drinks. You can even catch great live music on the weekends. The White Horse Tavern has been a staple in Burton for decades. The tavern was a stopping place to eat and catch up on the town news.

We’ve been serving sandwiches, quiche, salads, and homemade pies to groups of all sizes in our charming historic downtown building since 1982. Create your own combination by adding a hot soup, fresh fruit, side salad or delicious broccoli salad, then make your way to our antique ice cream parlor for hand-dipped Blue Bell ice cream! Must Be Heaven has a private dining area that seats up to 24 comfortably. Call for room rental rates. After business hours, however, the entire restaurant is available for a charge. Restaurant seats 215 including the private room.
Weikel’s Bakery
Weikel’s Bakery prides itself in making authentic, from scratch, Czech pastries. Weikel’s second location, in Brenham, features a full-scale baking operation, indoor seating for 16, and a menu of an extensive assortment of kolaches, klobasniky (pigs-in-a-blanket), sweet rolls, pies, bread, muffins, cookies and cakes, as well as a coffee, tea and soft drinks beverage counter.

Founded by native Texan’s, we have been around the world drinking some really fantastic coffees and some not so fantastic. In 2009, the coffee bug hit us and the drive to educate, learn and gain wisdom from other roasters and purveyors of great coffee has been a drive that has led us to starting Neon Moon Coffee.
Neon Moon Coffee is in love with freshly roasted coffee. Here at Neon Moon Coffee we roast to order so the coffee being received by delivery, mail or in-store pickup, will always be roasted within a few days before you open it. We work with several Green Coffee Bean importers and insure we are providing the highest grade of bean available for our Specialty Coffees.

The taqueria’s menu includes tacos, gorditas, aguas frescas, enchiladas and breakfast items.
LJ’S BBQ
Named one of Texas Monthly’s Top 25 New BBQ Joints in Texas, LJ’s features smoky BBQ brisket, pork, ribs and homemade sides. Crowd faves are the pulled pork or brisket tacos, mac and cheese, and “The Big Dog” sandwich. Wed-Sat from 11am until sold out or 6pm, whichever comes first.
The Cannery Kitchen & Gift Shop
Homestyle, American food served buffet style, open daily. Great food, great gift shop, great fellowship. Enjoy yourself and support Faith Mission, a local charity. The Cannery Kitchen has multiple rooms seating 14 to 100 people.
