The Texas Department of Agriculture has designated October as Texas Wine Month, so celebrate Texas wine by touring the October Wine & Sausage Trail.
The first two weekends in October the member wineries along the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail will celebrate Texas Wine Month with the Wine and Sausage Trail. Your ticket is valid for one visit to each winery over the four trail dates. Tickets will includes two select wine tastings, paired with a unique sausage appetizer at each winery. When you arrive at your first winery, you will receive a Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail glass to use and keep for all of your tastings. In addition, Trail guests will receive a specially selected Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail gift at the sixth winery visited, while supplies last. Guests can start at the winery of their choice. Trail tickets are valid for one visit to each of the wineries over the two weekends of the trail, regardless of when tickets are purchased. Ticket holders have four days over two weekends to visit all the member wineries. The official hours for this event are Noon to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday for each trail weekend, regardless of the wineries’ individual tasting room hours. Tickets must be purchased online at www.localwineevents.com. Please print out your email ticket and bring it with you to the wineries.
Please note this event is unable to accommodate groups larger than 12 and/or large limos/buses (due to parking constraints). However, we would love to have your large group visit the wineries on a non-wine trail day. Groups of 8 or more are asked to contact each winery an hour before arrival for staffing & food.
Event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
The Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail wineries remind you to drink responsibly and designate a driver. Per TABC regulations, anyone appearing to be intoxicated will not be served and may be asked to leave the premises.
