Blue Bell Fun Run

The Blue Bell Fun Run began in 1978 to benefit the Brenham High School Athletic program and did so for many years. Today, the run serves a broader community by fostering the physical health of and instilling good character in the youth of Washington County. Run for the Youth of Washington County sponsors events like the Blue Bell Fun Run, and conducts and provides charitable and other non-profit programs and activities in Washington County. Brenham High School athletes serve as volunteers for the race.

15th Annual Texas Ranger Day

Celebrate Burton’s Texas Ranger history; experience 1880s Texas Ranger camp life and displays, and demonstrations by the Legends of the Texas Rangers and McNelly’s Rangers. Tour the Railroad Depot and Burton Farmers Gin.

Historical displays & demonstrations, Legends of the Texas Rangers, Lil’ Mr. & Miss Texas Ranger. Annie Maud Avis Memorial Chili & Bean Cook-off. Tickets $15 adult and $10 kids aged 6-10. Raffle to win one Classic Gun. Music by Kountry Chick DJ. Railroad Depot & Cotton Warehouse tours. New this year: Celtaire String Band.

Enjoy a casual, locally sourced and thoughtfully crafted meal in Deeply Rooted Ranch’s welcoming dining room. Served family style at our communal tables, making friends and meeting neighbors is highly encouraged!

The menu will consist of a locally sourced protein, 2 farm sides, a salad, house made breads or rolls and a delicious, seasonal dessert. Water, tea and coffee are included.
