Over the River and Through the Woods

Unity Theatre presents Over the River and Through the Woods, a comedy by Joe DiPietro playing on the Main Stage June 11 – 28, 2026.

Every Sunday, Nick crosses the river to New Jersey and has dinner with both sets of his Italian American grandparents. But Nick has dreams, and when he receives the perfect job offer from the west coast, he is determined to take it. But the job would take him away from his family and his grandparents are just as determined keep him close. Thus begins a series of shameless schemes to keep Nick around including inviting to dinner the lovely, and single, Caitlin O’Hare as bait.
