We are located in Brenham, Texas in the hill country of central Texas.
We are just down the road from Lake Somerville, historic Washington on the Brazos and the Bluebell Creamery. Round Top is a few miles to our west and Chappell Hill to our east.
The quaint, 1930’s craftsman-style house channels the innocence, purity, and simplicity of Texas’ countryside. The style, which conveys the unpretentious ease of hill country life, is finding an increasingly receptive audience in modern times. Cheery and natural, the style places function over form and comfort over modernity.
The Texas Country Guesthouse overlooks picturesque landscapes of open fields and beautiful blue skies. The house offers a handful of amenities for guests to enjoy either on a romantic or adventurous, outdoor getaway. To reassure our guests during these uncertain times, we thoroughly clean and disinfect the house after each stay.

The Bonnie Blue House is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage that can accommodate up to 4 adults. There is a full kitchen and coffee bar for all your dining needs, a dining room and spacious living room with TV and roku setup. Outdoor seating area is available underneath 2 large oak trees between the house and garden for guests to enjoy the wonderful country atmosphere.
Enjoy taking in the sights and history of Independence by walking the village loop and Old Baylor Park. Continue with a trip to see the beautiful gardens of The Antique Rose Emporium. Then head to the General Store for a burger and beer; trust me-the burgers do not disappoint.
A short drive down Hwy 50 South to 105 will take you quickly into Brenham. There visit Blue Bell and the downtown for shopping and dining.
Planning on going to an A&M game, graduation, or just sightseeing around Bryan/College Station; head North on Hwy 50 for an easy drive into town.

Enjoy taking the beautiful scenic route of hwy 390; especially during the spring as you drive past fields and fields of Bluebonnets. We are conveniently located about half a mile from downtown Brenham, TX! Our cozy cottage has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a queen bed in two rooms and two full beds in the master room. Our cottage will sleep a maximum of 8 guests comfortably! We offer all your basic cookware and a few toiletries that may come in handy! Enjoy your morning coffee on our newly built deck and listen to the peaceful sounds of the neighboring creek!
